If you've ever felt like you're drowning in a sea of tasks and deadlines, don't worry, because I've got five game-changing strategies to share with you.

You can either watch the video here or keep reading below:

Managing multiple projects and keeping track of deadlines can feel like a never-ending game of catch-up, but don't worry - with these tips, you'll be the boss of your to-do list in no time!

Here are 5 ways I stay organized and on top of work projects:

1) Embrace Tech

Managing multiple projects and keeping track of deadlines can seem like a never-ending game of catchup. But don't worry; with these tips, you will be the boss of your to-do list in no time!

Find a work management tool that is going to help you stay organized and on track. I personally believe that going digital is the way to go. Digital tools make it so much easier, especially when you need to move things around, reprioritize, or create a big project like an online course.

Why Asana is a Lifesaver

2) Start Small

The next tip for staying organized and on top of your projects is to start small. I know you have big ideas, I do too, but it's essential to break those big, overwhelming ideas down into small, manageable actionable steps. Let's take an example to see how you can turn a massive project into smaller steps.

Breaking Down Your Tasks:

  1. Open up a project in Asana and title it.

  2. Start writing down all the tiny tasks you need to do.

  3. You can separate them into sections now or later.

  4. Create subtasks for more specific actions.

  5. Assign tasks to yourself or your team.

  6. Set due dates for timely completion.

By creating these small, actionable steps, you can achieve your big ideas systematically.

3) Set Reminders

The next tip is all about setting reminders. I use various apps and alarms depending on the urgency of the task.

For less time-sensitive tasks, I use my iPhone's reminders app.

For immediate, time-critical tasks, I rely on my phone's alarm.

For non-recurring reminders in the future, I use Google Calendar's tasks feature.

These apps help me keep my personal life organized while Asana handles my business tasks. It's essential to use these tools for different types of reminders to stay on top of your schedule effectively.

4) Clear Communication

Clear communication is crucial. Always make sure you're asking clarifying questions to clients and giving clear instructions to your team. It's much better to ask questions than spend a lot of time trying to figure things out on your own. Communication ensures you stay on top of tasks and avoid unnecessary complications.

5) Keep Your Workspace Tidy

The last tip for staying organized and on top of your projects is to keep your physical workspace clean and tidy. A tidy workspace equals a tidy mind. Spend the last 5 to 10 minutes of your workday tidying up your workspace, so you start the next day fresh and focused.

How great does it feel to start your day in a clean environment? A clutter-free workspace reduces distractions and helps you stay on top of your tasks.

I hope these five strategies help you stay organized and on top of your work.
